How you can get funding for a Virtual Assistant

Access to Work is a government-funded program in various countries, including the United Kingdom, designed to support individuals with disabilities or health conditions in the workplace (whether your self-employed or employed). It's not limited to physical disabilities; it also covers conditions like ADHD.

How to apply for funding from Access to Work

Eligibility Assessment: The first step is to determine if you're eligible for Access to Work. Visit the official Access to Work website for detailed information here.

Contact Access to Work: Complete your Access to Work application. If just the thought of this makes you want to run the other way, get in touch & let us do the hard work for you!

Assessment: Access to Work will arrange an assessment to understand your specific needs. During this assessment, be open and honest about how ADHD affects your work life and why a VA would be beneficial.

Proposal: After the assessment, a proposal will be developed that outlines the support you require. This is where you can request funding for a Virtual Assistant.

Approval and Implementation: Once the proposal is approved, let us know & we can match you up with one of our fantastic VAs!

Ongoing Support: Access to Work is not a one-time deal. They can provide ongoing support to ensure your work environment remains conducive to your needs.

The whole process can take around 5 months, but we promise it will be worth it!

Access to Work doesn’t just help with funding for a Virtual Assistant or Support Worker - they can also offer funding for ADHD Coaching, workplace equipment, training & much more.
